Rosé Rocks is South Africa’s first dedicated rosé wine competition. It seeks to recognise excellence in rosé winemaking and promote the South African Rosé Wine category.

Producers are increasingly bringing exciting new expressions of this most versatile of wines to the market.

In line with international trends, rosé wine is shaking off its sweet n’cheap image of yesteryear, and is seen as the ideal accompaniment to many sociable occasions, especially casual outdoor dining with friends and family. Rosé wine is also the perfect wine for many of South Africa’s favourite seafood, salad and pasta dishes.
